Join the Turtle Rescue Team in this limited-time event at SEA LIFE Michigan! Discover how to find them, feed them, track them, and help them through splash-tastic activities from 2/13 to 3/16.
Here at SEA LIFE, we spend lots of our time rescuing and keeping sea turtles safe, but we need your help in this exciting experience included with your admission.
Turtle Rescue Event Highlights:
- Get a Patrol Book to guide your turtle rescue mission - while supplies last
- Learn about your sea turtle and log their rescue progress
- Help your turtle with each rescue activity from finding, feeding, and tracking them
- Give your turtle a special name
Spot Real Rescued Sea Turtles
Come face to flipper with real rescued sea turtles, Benson and Carr, in our Tropical Ocean Exhibit. Both Benson and Carr were victims of boat strikes, which require extraordinary care. We've given them an amazing forever home at SEA LIFE Michigan because they cannot safely return to the wild.
- Benson and Carr love eating veggies, and you can sometimes spot a sea turtle eating too!
- See their temporary weight patches which help them swim properly.
- While at SEA LIFE, learn amazing ways to help these creatures here in Michigan!
