Our SEA LIFE workshops provide a unique opportunity to honor, help protect, and conserve our world's shared oceans.
Our workshops have a cross-curricular approach, with particular focus on:
- Science (Adaptation, Inheritance, Evolution and Variation, Biological Processes, Marine Wildlife, Welfare and Conservation)
- Geography (Oceans Around the World, Ocean Habitats, Human Impact on the Ocean)
- Literacy (Comprehension and Inference, Reading, Creative Writing Inspired by Wildlife)

Workshops
Homes in the SEA
Grades PreK-K
Visit creatures at home in the sea! Together we will dive into a world of amazing discovery to explore the fascinating and diverse habitats in our world’s oceans, and the animals that call them home!
Students will discuss what we as humans need to survive, and how animals and all living things have similar needs, then dive in to explore just what makes the perfect underwater home for some of the world’s most amazing creatures.
Approximately 20 - 30 minutes. $3 per student.
Sea Creatures
1st-5th Grade
Invite students to learn about some of our core SEA LIFE creatures! Together they will dive into a world of amazing discovery to learn about three core creatures: sharks, jellyfish, and seahorses – understanding their different needs and completing exclusive SEA LIFE quizzes for each.
Students will think about the importance of animal welfare and use the core aquarium standards to create tanks for the different creatures, based on their understanding of creatures’ needs and happiness markers.
Approximately 20 - 30 minutes. $3 per student

Please note: Field Trips must be booked at least 2 weeks in advance.
The maximum capacity of our Educational Workshop room is 30 students at one time.
For Field Trips with larger groups, we can offer multiple Workshops back-to-back to accommodate more students.
We do not recommend Educational Workshops for groups larger than 150 students due to common Field Trip time constraints.
A SEA LIFE Aquarium-only Field Trip with an Educational Workshop will be about 2 hours including lunch.
A Combo Field Trip with an Educational Workshop will be about 4 hours including lunch.
Yes — depending on the number of students in your group and the amount of time you have allotted for the Field Trip.
A Combo Field Trip with an Educational Workshop will be about 4 hours including lunch.
We do not recommend adding a Workshop to Combo groups of more than 120 students due to common Field Trip time constraints.
Yes, you must have at least 15 students to add an Educational Workshop to your Field Trip.
