About Atlantic wolffish
The Atlantic wolffish prefers to eat hard-shelled invertebrates (such as crabs, mussels and sea urchins). With its powerful teeth he simply opens their shells - but this causes his teeth to wear down a lot. That is why the Atlantic wolffish simply replaces them with new ones in winter. During the change of teeth, the Atlantic wolffish eats soft food or starves itself.
