Turtle swimming through the Reef at Sea Life Sydney

The Sydney Aquarium Touch Pool will be closed temporarily for an exciting overhaul, beginning Wednesday 30th November and running through until 21st December.

A hoarding will be installed around the area for the duration of the works, and we'll be adding an interactive Ocean Science Station to the coral area adjacent to the touch pool as an alternative interactive exhibit until the touchpool work is complete.

This upgrade is part of an ongoing program of works at Sydney Aquarium, which kicked off in September with the installation of the new CLAWS creature feature.

CLAWS showcases crusty creatures of the deep, including the incredible Japanese Spider Crabs, along with native Aussie crustaceans such as the beautiful Murray Crayfish.

Stay tuned for details of more exciting developments at Sydney Aquarium over coming months.
