SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium penguins try their flipper at the new Monopoly edition!

SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium’s resident sub-Antarctic penguins have been given the opportunity to be the first in Sydney to play the newest edition of Monopoly which now - much to the penguin’s delight - features an official penguin player token.

Just like households across the country, the Gentoo penguins squabbled over who got the first try at the penguin-friendly version of the game, while the King penguins acted as the unofficial judicators, watching on from the sidelines.

Some of the Gentoo penguins were too distracted to participate in the game, as they were busy guarding their nest and pebbles from other penguins as the attraction’s first breeding season swings into gear, with the hope there will be the pitter patter of little Gentoo feet in the coming months.

To celebrate the launch of the new Monopoly Penguin token, consumers can purchase a Monopoly Classic board game from any major toy retailer between the 10/10/17 – 31/12/17 and present their receipt to SEA LIFE to redeem the special offer of ‘Adults at Kids Prices’.
