Octopus Predicting the Election

With the election just around the corner we thought we would ask our resident psychic octopus, Bob, to have a look at the Prime Ministerial candidates and let us know who he would predict to win.
After having a good look at both, and we all know octopus have very good eyesight, he swam on down and with his tentacle pulled Tony Abbott into himself and would not let go!
Amy Wilkes, Aquarist at SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium, who loves working closely with our octopus, explained to us that even though they have great eyesight, they can’t see colour. The octopus have sensitive receptors in their legs, which along with their great eyesight can help them locate their food through taste. Can you imagine being able to taste with your arms and legs?!
Octopus are very intelligent animals and enjoy stimuli
The aquarists enjoy coming up with new ideas to entertain young Bob.
