Mary-Lou, our gentle giant

If you haven't yet had the pleasure, then make sure you meet Mary-Lou these holidays. A gentle giant Grey Nurse Shark - she is a FIN-tastic favourite of the team here at SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium.
And that's not just 'cause she's been here the longest of all the Grey Nurse Sharks or even that she's the biggest and oldest - it's all down to her personality!
The fishy team here describe her as laid back, shies away from confrontation and likes to keep to herself and is really not too snappy at all. Mary-Lou's favourite foods are Trevally and Bonito fish.
David Watts, General Supervisor for Displays, has been quoted as saying 'She has a very pretty upturned nose' - so keep an eye out for her on your next visit to the aquarium and see if you can spot her.
Mary-Lou has no love interests at the moment, but Grey Nurse Sharks have year on year off daliances - so stay tuned for the gossip!
Make sure you come and say 'hi' to Mary-Lou and her friends these holidays.
