Introducing Our Sensory Room

Mark your calendars for December 14th! We’re hosting a special Quiet Morning and unveiling our brand-new Sensory Room.

This thoughtfully designed space is a haven for guests who experience sensory sensitivities. With calming lighting, soothing sounds, and interactive features, it’s crafted to provide a peaceful environment where everyone can feel at ease while exploring the wonders of SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium.

What is the Sensory Room?

Our Sensory Room, developed in collaboration with Creative Sensory Spaces, is tailored to provide a calming retreat. Inside, guests can enjoy:

• Gentle lighting and soothing visuals.
• Interactive sensory elements for hands-on engagement.
• A safe, quiet space to relax and reset during your visit.

It’s our way of ensuring that everyone, regardless of their sensory needs, can comfortably experience the wonders of the ocean.

Join Us for a Special Quiet Morning

This exclusive event offers a quieter, more relaxed environment for visitors who may find regular opening hours overwhelming. During the Quiet Morning, we’ll adjust the aquarium’s atmosphere by:

• Dimming the lights to create a soothing setting.
• Reducing noise levels, including turning off interactive displays and background music.
• Providing a low-capacity environment to ensure a more peaceful experience.

Visitors will also be among the first to explore our brand-new Sensory Room, a thoughtfully curated space designed for guests with sensory sensitivities.
