Baby Shark Hatched

Since Shark Mission launched, we've had 'Mermaids Purses' on display with a baby embryos inside - just near our Shark Nursery. With a light behind the purse, guests have been able to see our Brown Banded Bamboo Sharks grow day by day and learn more about the breeding cycle of different sharks.

We had one hatch a month ago and with Easter just around the corner, our second bamboo shark decided to hatch out of its egg right in front of guests this week. What great timing!
