SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast Aquarium dedicates a lot of time to rescuing and rehabilitating turtles, now one of the most threatened group of animals on the planet, and this school holidays they need your help!

Dive Into Their World
From April 1st - 16th, guests can join the mission of the Turtle Rescue Team and learn how and why we must help our turtle friends!
Upon entry, kids will receive a free activity booklet to begin their turtle rescue mission. Moving through multiple rescue stages, families and kids can dive into this turtle-y awesome learning experience from weigh in, checking diet and hydration to comparing x-rays, before giving their turtle the green light for release.
Alongside the rescue mission, kids will also receive a turtle-y awesome free painting by numbers sheet, and once their turtle rescue mission is complete, kids will receive a rescue certificate, “shell-ebrating” the great work that they have done to help the turtles.
For guests who want to learn more, there will be a daily artefacts table with one of our marine experts for Q&A’s. There is also the option to dive even deeper into the world of a rescue turtle, by booking a Behind the Scenes Tour and visiting the Turtle Rehabilitation Centre (at an additional cost).

Event Details
The Turtle Rescue activities are all included in the price of admission unless stated otherwise! Behind the Scenes Tours come at an additional cost and can be purchased online or at the door.
Guests can also discover a range of other marine and freshwater creatures at SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast including sharks, rays, little blue penguins and more.
