What is the Seahorse Kingdom? 

This permanent exhibit is home to more than 100 seahorses, including species like the kuda, longsnout, barbour, short snout, weedy sea dragons, and pot-bellied seahorses.

What is the Seahorse Hotel?

From 22nd June to 13th September, SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast presents the Seahorse Hotel, a unique and engaging experience for the entire family. This temporary attraction is an extension of our Seahorse Kingdom, offering visitors an immersive activity trail that educates and entertains.

The Seahorse Hotel activity trail invites guests to learn about the crucial role seahorses play in ocean conservation. Through interactive displays, you’ll identify seahorse habitats, uncover threats they face in the wild, and discover the efforts SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast is making to protect these wonderful creatures.

By completing the activity trail, participants will receive a certificate to commemorate their achievement. It’s an exciting way for families to bond while learning about marine life and the importance of conservation.

The interactive elements of the Seahorse Hotel activity trail are designed to educate visitors about seahorse conservation in a fun and hands-on way. Families can work together to complete challenges, identify seahorse habitats, and learn about the threats these creatures face in the wild.
