You'll start your journey through the depths of the ocean in the Bay of Rays. Here you will find an assortment of amazing creatures that are native to the UK including Thornback Rays and Bull Huss Sharks!

Next, prepare to be amazed as you come closer than ever before to amazing colourful assortment of creatures in our Coral Cove exhibit.

Get up close and personal to the most comical creatures at the Centre. Make sure you have your camera handy - there will be plenty of selfie moments!

Outside you can get up close and personal with our resident Asian Short Clawed Otters Harris & Willow. Otters in the wild have a life expectancy of 12 years but live longer in captivity.

Let your little fish burn off some energy in our outdoor play area!

Scarborough SEA LIFE Sanctuary is home to Yorkshire's only Seal Hospital. You'll be able to follow the journey of our injured Seals through their rescue from local coastal waters, through rehabilitation and eventual release back into the wild!

Visit our main Seal Pool and see our main four resident Seals - Mando, Pendle, Boo and Ed. Each of our 4 resident Seals carries their own unique story for living here at the attraction. All of our resident seals are boys! Read about their stories at the main seal pool. 

Our amazing Ocean Tunnel holds 156,000 litres of natural seawater and is home to an array of different colourful species of fish as well as our Black-tip sharks.

You can discover these amazing creatures as you journey into our ‘Kingdom of the Seahorses’ during your visit.

Rockpools are amazing micro-habitats full of incredible creatures! Are you brave enough to stroke a Sea Anemone? Find out during your visit!

Are you feeling brave enough to trek through the Rainforest?

Immerse yourself in a world of creepy crawlies, lurking lizards and curious critters. Be mesmerised at the incredible colours of our Poison Arrow Dart Frogs and Green Tree Pythons. 

Conservation is at the heart of what we do at SEA LIFE Scarborough. There are plenty of opportunities to learn about the threats facing marine life and what you can do to help as you explore with us.

In this area, you will find out more about what SEA LIFE and the SEA LIFE Trust are doing to help threatened marine life and perhaps help us out yourself by signing one of our petitions or picking up a free sustainable
seafood guide.
