There’s a lot going on beneath the surface at SEA LIFE San Antonio and you can team up with our expert guides to discover how we care for over 3,000 marine and fresh-water creatures.
This 20 minute interactive experience will immerse you in our working world where you will be shown how life support, filtration and water quality systems work, how food is prepared for the animals, plus research areas.
Please note, when purchasing your ticket, you are choosing your Behind-the-Scenes-Tour time. Please check in at the admissions desk no later than 30 minutes before your selected time. This is for tickets purchased with the link below!
Note: Behind the Scenes Tours do not allow admission to SEA LIFE San Antonio and must be purchased with an admissions ticket.
Experience Details
To take your Behind-the-Scenes Tour, please arrive at least ten minutes before the scheduled start of the tour.
Behind-the-Scenes Tours are approximately 20 minutes long.
Behind-the-Scenes Tours are not available with group or school tickets.

- 11:30 a.m.
- 12:30 p.m.
- 1:30 p.m.
- 2:30 p.m.
- 3:30 p.m.
- 4:30 p.m. (only when open until 6 p.m.)
- 5:30 p.m. (only when open until 7 p.m.)
