Meet the Humboldt Penguins!

The penguins arrived to SEA LIFE Porto!

For the first time in the city's history, the Humboldt penguins travel to Porto, ready to celebrate the tenth anniversary of SEA LIFE Porto.

The Humboldt Penguins, originally from South America, are identified by the IUCN-World Conservation Red List of Threatened Species as "vulnerable" in the ranking of endangered species. That is why the European Endangered Species Breeding Program (EEP) - has placed its bets on zoos in Europe to ensure reproduction in captivity. An alert message that SEA LIFE Porto seeks to reinforce among visitors, sensitizing kids and adults to the importance of species preservation and to the way human behavior is having harmful effects on planet Earth.
