Jellyfish have been around for a long time, since when the first reptiles began to walk the earth, it is estimated that they have swam for the first time in our oceans about 500 million years ago!

There are about 350 different species of jellyfish,some of them are over two meters or as small as the head of a needle.

If you see them in nature be careful as the jellyfish tentacles have a poison that they use to capture their prey and it can be very painful if it comes in contact with our skin!
