SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium
One of the cool places in Orlando that you should visit is here, SEA LIFE Aquarium. Our attraction is an excellent place for children and adults as well. We are located at 8449 International Drive, Orlando, FL 32819, near the Orange County Convention Center.
Here, you can see various oceanic species, including fish, sharks, jellyfish, and seahorses. This aquarium is an excellent place for families to go and learn about different sea creatures. There’s also a hands-on area, the Touch Tank, where kids can touch sea stars and sea anemones.
We are open 365 days a year—hours vary. Many special events take place in this facility throughout the year.
Madame Tussauds
Madame Tussauds is another excellent attraction in Orlando, Florida, that features wax figures of famous people. Madame Tussauds also boasts several galleries, including figures of people who have appeared on television and celebrities who have been featured in movies. The Orlando location opened in 2015. It features celebrities such as Beyoncé, Maluma, Bad Bunny, Ariana Grande, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Barack Obama, Peyton Manning, Derek Jeter, Tiger Woods, and Serena Williams.
The Wheel at ICON Park
The Wheel at ICON Park is one of the most incredible places in Orlando. It is a must-see giant Ferris wheel that is 400 feet tall, featuring cabins that are air conditioned and can accommodate up to 10 people. The views from the top are incredible, where you can see for miles in every direction, and you can take in all of Orlando’s major attractions.
A ride on The Wheel at ICON Park is smooth and relaxing, and you can even get a drink while enjoying the view. The ride lasts about 18 minutes and is a great way to have a bird’s eye view of the city. The Wheel is also great for taking pictures, so bring your camera. This is the place to go if you’re looking for a unique experience.
LEGOLAND Florida
LEGOLAND Florida is a theme park in Winter Haven, Florida and another cool place near Orlando you should visit. The park features over 50 rides and attractions, counting four roller coasters plus a water ride. While there are other LEGOLAND parks around the world, this one is unique in that it’s built on a scale model of the city of Orlando.
Take a stroll as you explore many shops, restaurants, and entertainment options. LEGOLAND Florida is open all year- 365 days. It is open from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM on weekdays and 6 PM on weekends – hours vary. It boasts several hotels: Pirate Island Hotel, LEGOLAND hotel, and Beach Retreat. The hotel complex offers a view from above—and showcases the entire LEGOLAND Florida Resort.
Peppa Pig Theme Park
Are your kids big fans of Peppa Pig? Well, there’s a whole theme park dedicated to her in Orlando.
This fun park is based on a popular children’s TV show and features rides, shows, and plenty of opportunities to meet your favorite characters. There’s also a water play area where you can cool off on hot days. It’s the perfect place to take your little ones for a fun day out.
Kennedy Space Center

Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Garden
Located in Sanford—about an hour from Orlando, the Zoo & Botanical Garden is a great place to spend an afternoon with the kids. The zoo features more than 350 animals and live animal shows. Here, you’ll find several gardens, a butterfly house, and a butterfly nursery. The zoo also hosts annual special events like family festivals, holiday celebrations, and the Easter Egg Hunt.
