About the Zebra Shark
- At the sight of the zebra shark it becomes very clear where it got its name from. Young zebra sharks have yellow-black horizontal stripes; adult animals on the other hand are much brighter and darker spotted.
- Zebra sharks are twilight- or nocturnal and feed on mussels and snails, crabs, shrimps and small fish. They move rather slowly and can squeeze through narrow crevices and caves, especially when foraging.
