Penguin Passport is your ticket to a once-in-a-lifetime encounter with SEA LIFE Melbourne's colony of sub-Antarctic penguins.
Suit up into our Antarctic snow gear and get set for your 45 minute penguin encounter tour!
The Penguin Passport experience takes you onto the ice where you have the exclusive opportunity to get up close to our colony of majestic King and cheeky Gentoo penguins. You will also have the opportunity to go behind the scenes and see the penguin food preparation, as well as how the state-of-the-art exhibit maintains its sub-zero temperatures. Guests must be aged 12+ years to participate.

Important Information
When booking your Penguin Passport experience in our online ticket store you'll be required to formally acknowledge the general booking terms and conditions.
- You must not come into contact with birds 24 hours prior to your Penguin Passport experience
- If you experience Flu/Cold/Gastro/Respiration infection within 48 hours of your experience, you will need to contact us to reschedule
- No jewellery, watches, mobile phones or cameras can be taken on tour
- If you have trouble navigating stairs, please let us know in advance BEFORE making your booking online
- You MUST wear/bring socks on the day of your experience. Failure to do this may result in the tour being cancelled.
- Please arrive no later than 30min before your Penguin Passport start time.
- Sessions are limited to 4 guests at a time with 1 guide.

This is an intimate experience with only 4 people per group, we recommend pre-booking this experience in advance to avoid disappointment.
You must be 12 years or older to participate in our Penguin Passport experience. Guests aged 12-15 must be accompanied by a paying and participating guardian aged 18+.
Guests aged 16-17 years must have a guardian aged 18+ present to sign waiver at check-in.
Penguin Passport sessions are open to up to 4 guests per session, with 1 guide for the entire group. This means that if you have not booked out all 4 spots in your order, there may be other guests attending the same session with you.

This tour was simply amazing!!! If you have even the slightest interest in animals, you need to do this! You can't touch them, but the penguins are only a few cm's away from you.
