Dive into Norfolk's history
Our habitat inside our Ocean Display is based on HMS Gloucester – the royal warship which sank off the Norfolk coast in 1682. The shipwreck was believed to have been discovered by two divers in 2007, but the full public reveal of the find was not disclosed until 2021.
