SEA LIFE TRUST's vision is that of a world where our seas are healthy, protected and full of diverse life.
Working with the global SEA LIFE aquarium group, we are able to reach a huge audience. We conduct inspiring conservation campaigns and fund projects and educational programs that advocate for the need for plastic-free oceans, sustainable fishing, effective marine protected areas and an end to overexploitation of marine life.
We also own and operate our own marine wildlife sanctuaries.

Creating the world's first beluga whale sanctuary
The SEA LIFE TRUST is pleased to announce that thanks to a very generous donation from Merlin Entertainments, we are building the world's first beluga whale sanctuary in Iceland!
In early 2019, two previously captive Beluga whales, Little White and Little Grey, embark on an epic 6,000-mile journey that takes them from an aquarium in Shanghai to a new ocean retreat in a beautiful Icelandic bay.
This very significant event will be the first time captive Beluga whales have ever been released into an ocean sanctuary and that only because of the support we receive from our project partners - SEA LIFE, Merlin Entertainments and Whale and Dolphin Conservation, which Little White and Little Gray can make this important journey.
Anyone who cares deeply about the welfare of whales and dolphins hopes this will be a brighter future for these amazing animals.
