Become an Aquarium Volunteer

As a leading tourist attraction, SEA LIFE Kelly Tarlton’s Aquarium is dedicated to not only providing an insightful and educational experience – but also an experience filled with fun and surprises! We are inviting anyone with a passion for the marine environment and a flair for customer service to join our team as a volunteer. Not only will you be helping us provide our guests with a visit they’ll never forget, but you’ll also be gaining valuable experience that could help secure your future career!

What does a volunteer at SEA LIFE Kelly Tarlton's do?

Volunteers will be assisting the Guest Experience team to deliver magical experiences and a helping hand to our guests. Such activities will include (but are not limited to) welcoming guests to the attraction, providing maps and information as guests enter, answering guest queries and directed them appropriately, as well as manning various displays to engage and educate guests on specific animals/topics such as conservation. As a volunteer, you should have the confidence to strike up a conversation and the ability to learn about aspects of the business, animals and topics for discussion with our guests. Don’t worry – we provide training for all volunteers.
