Free outreach program
SEA LIFE Kelly Tarlton's offers outreach programs for low decile schools around Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, where one of our educators come in and do one of our education sessions for FREE at your school!
Our aim is to engage with tamariki that may not otherwise be able to visit the aquarium. We want everyone to be able to learn and be inspired about the ocean.
There are four different topics to choose from:
- Conservation
- Antarctica
- Adaptations & Habitats
- Food Chains & Ecosystems
Outreach sessions can be for one class, your whole syndicate or for different year levels at your school. We will also bring in some artefacts for your students to have a closer look at and to do some activities around these.
Outreach sessions are run on Thursdays, but feel free to get in touch with our education team regarding your specific requirements.
