Booking Information for Schools

Below you can see the different types of visits available for different groups and ages. We recommend contacting us by filling in the form under the FAQ section. Pricing can be found on our Programs & Planning page.

We have different pricing for different groups and excursion types. Pricing can be found on our Programs & Planning page. 

For self-directed visits, while not usually required, it is highly recommended to book in to guarantee spot for your school. This is especially important on the busy days!

For classrooms and sleepovers, booking is mandatory and must be discussed and approved by our education team. Please fill in the form below to contact us!

If you think you might need to adjust your numbers or date before your visit, the online form is your best booking option. Once you’ve submitted the form below our education team will be in touch to confirm your trip or answer any questions. Changes and cancellations can be made up to the point of payment. 

Payment options include card on the day or we can send an invoice. To organise an invoice, please email us at learn@kellytarltons.co.nz. 

Adults, including teachers, parent helpers and other staff may be eligible for free entry. Depending on the visit type and age of the students, you may receive free adult tickets to assist with the cost of the trip. 

• For Pre-schools/ECEs: 1 free adult ticket for every 3 pre-schoolers (aged 3 and over). 
• For year 1 to 13: 1 free adult ticket for every 6 students.
• For tertiary/University students: 1 free teacher/staff ticket for every 10 students

For students who require a carer to assist them due to disability, carers are granted free of charge entry. Limited to one free carer per student. 

Alternatively, teachers are eligible for one free pre-visit ticket per year to help plan their school's visit. For more information, please see our website. 

You can pay up until the date of the visit. Payment options include card on the day or we can send an invoice after your visit. To organise an invoice, please email us at learn@kellytarltons.co.nz. 

Ready to dive in? If you have confirmed your group numbers and want to book a self-directed visit, the quickest way to secure your trip is via our booking portal. Bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable following payment.
