Moon Jellyfish (2)

Moon Jellyfish

Moon Jellies are the most common jellyfish found in aquariums around the world as they are the simplest to breed. The flower pattern on the jellies head doubles as both their stomachs and reproductive organs. As such it's always cool to see them after they've eaten as they will most likely appear as bright orange! This species doesn't possess a potent venom and is generally safe for people to interact with.

Spotted Jellyfish 1

Spotted Jellyfish

Spotted Jellyfish are easily recognised by the large, semi-transparent, rounded bell covered in regularly spaced spots, with trailing tentacles.

This large and spectacular jellyfish is common during the summer months in coastal waters and estuaries.

Egg Yolk Jellyfish 1

Egg - Yolk Jellyfish

Egg-Yolk Jellyfish are species of jellyfish named for their distinctive yellow, yolk- like bell, which resembles a cracked egg, making them one of the most visually striking jellyfish.
