SEA LIFE Kelly Tarlton's Launches Blue Project on World Ocean Day

  • Wednesday 7th June 2017

We are very proud to announce the arrival of the Blue Project on World Ocean Day!

The Blue Project is a free resource for all of New Zealand to use. Its aim is to help inspire, educate and empower kiwi children about marine conservation and sustainability. Through inspiring 360 degree videos, you will be transported to an underwater world, experiencing the ocean using the latest innovative technology.

To get the most out of the Blue Project please use your smart phone.

The Blue Project is split up into three topics, told through the experiences of an iconic species found at SEA LIFE Kelly Tarlton's Auckland:

  • Ocean Ecosystems & Sharks

  • Avoiding Extinction & Marine Turtles

  • Climate Change & Penguin

Each topic is made up of educational videos, fun facts, a "Did you know?" section and "Quiz".

The Blue Project is proudly brought to you by SEA LIFE Kelly Tarlton's, SEA LIFE Trust and the Department of Conservation.
