What are the birthday party terms & conditions

Birthday party payment is by pre-payment only. Once you have made your booking, we are unable to modify it. There will be no refunds for no-shows on the day. Any additional guests will need to be paid for by the party organiser on the day. If you have additional guests on the day, your host will assist you to make payment before the end of the party. Organising payment for the party is the responsibility of the party organiser - we are unable to take multiple payments. The Annual Pass Member discount is valid off the cost of the whole party. To receive this discount, your membership number must be given at the time of booking. (Please note: Annual Pass Member Discount do not apply for on the day payments.) Regrettably, Annual Memberships or Complimentary Passes are not valid for birthday party attendance. How much is it for additional adults and children?

The standard price for each additional guest is: $34.00 per adult $30.00 per child Infants (under 2yrs) are free For annual pass members: $27.00 per adult $24.00 per child Infants (under 2yrs) are free Any additional guests can be paid for on the day of the party. Please request for a receipt for each transaction/guest as proof of payment. Please note the maximum number of guests permitted for the party is 30.

10:00 AM, 12:30PM OR 3:00PM (We will close at 5:00PM as usual).

PLEASE NOTE:
A minimum of 10 children is required for this birthday package and bookings are essential. The maximum number of guests permitted for the party is 30.

This package is for children aged between 2 - 14 years old. A minimum of 10 children is required which includes 3 adults (16 years old and above) free of charge. Bookings are essential.

SEA LIFE Kelly Tarlton’s birthday parties do not include food, however the party room has a kitchenette available for use, which includes a fridge, kettle and microwave.

No. Please ensure to include the birthday child when you make the booking.

Annual Pass benefits does not include joining birthday parties. The party organiser will need to book and pay for all guests including Annual Pass holders.

The birthday room is a multi-purpose room where it is often being used for various bookings. Please contact our education team (learn@kellytarltons.co.nz) to request a viewing. Note that this does not include entry into the other parts of the aquarium and our team have the rights to decline any request if the room is not available for viewing.

No, alcohol is not allowed to be on the premises under any circumstances.

Due to the impacts of COVID-19 we have reduced our fresh food offering at our Cafe. Therefore, we are unable to provide food catering for birthday parties.
