SEA LIFE Kelly Tarlton’s Aquarium is taking guests on a nostalgic journey back to the 80s as part of its 40th-anniversary celebrations. On Saturday, 8 March, the iconic Auckland aquarium will be marking International Fanny Pack Day in true retro style, inviting guests to dress up in their best 80s outfits and embrace the era when it all began.

For Fanny Pack Flashback, the SEA LIFE Kelly Tarlton’s team will be dressed in their best retro fashion and guests are encouraged to dig out their own fanny packs, neon gear, hair crimpers and classic 80s trends for a totally rad experience celebrating four decades of marine magic.

To add to the fun, there will be prizes for the best dressed and all guests wearing a fanny pack will receive a free coffee, ensuring they stay energised for their time-traveling adventure through SEA LIFE Kelly Tarlton’s Aquarium.
